Chaotic Disintegrate
Chaotic Disintegrate
Where chaos stops and more chaos ensues. Where Filia plays the electric keyboard.
Where anything goes.

Wow. Ever felt totally distant from your life for a while? It doesn't do much good for your inner turmoil, but sometimes it's good to stop and let the world run past you.

Return to pastoral pleasures, take joy in little things. Do something meaningful, like bake a nice cake with the intention of giving it away (and, probably regardless of whether you so choose) and having it devoured before you can even take a crumb for your hard work. Hey, at least nobody got food poisoning. For those who don't know, it's a butter cake with chocolate chips, a la Yeo Siew Lee. Not kaya.
Indulge. Spend. Money will eventually slip through your fingers no matter how hard you try to grasp it. Besides, the cost of living is going up, so don't bother postponing consumption. Do your part to prevent the paradox of thrift. Try taking a taxi around, or contributing fifty dollars to your eZ-link card just for the heck of seeing the money swallowed up by mechanical reality. You're going to spend that fifty dollars anyway, aren't you ... unless you intend to start driving sometime soon.
Partake in different activities. Diversify your interests. Attempt to attend two different ECAs being run concurrently, even if only for a day. Endure the horrified glares of teachers and fellow students as you excuse yourself while flashing your silliest smile, letting your hands play over your chest or twirling about your hair in trepidation. Just about totally miss one, and half-heartedly follow the other as your eyes alternately leap to the door or the clock. Risk heightens the enjoyment of what little life you still have on the thread of existence. Especially the risk of being pitched from the third floor or getting flattened by a most dissatisfied and cheesed-off conductor.

And so the world has run past me. Approximately ten minutes of it, in fact. I'd better watch my back.
