Okay, at last, finally, I had the energy and determination to go to the library, to borrow some books, for which the exhiliration from reading should be sufficient to sustain my energy and determination long enough to ... um, to return them. And what should spoil my day but the bane of my life, children. I loathe them in every form.

All I have to do is bend forward for a moment, retrieve a book from the shelf to examine it, and then some daft kid runs around the corner of the library shelf full tilt into my waist (not, unfortunately, whacking their otherwise unfunctioning optical sensory organs against the sharp of my hip) and send me head over heels, crashing against the library shelf and slamming against the hard floor in an extremely painful encounter. And the book ends up on the floor, not joined by the rest of its compatriots ... thankful for my physical well-being, but much more thankful for my mental one if the whole pile fell and crushed the miserable snivelling cretin beneath its weight. And what should the damn pest do but walk over, give me a funny look like, um, like I was lying in the penalty area of a football pitch or something (I exaggerate everything I do, there isn't a particular place for it), mumble a few indistinguishable words and then continue on on its idiotic way. Damn kids. Damn kids. I loathe kids.
Is this why the less respectable aspects of society seem to be so gratified by wanton violence unleashed against helpless, but not thoroughly undeserving children? To all want-to-be parents out there, I exhale a great curse upon you and the horror that you bring upon the world with your wantonness, for loosing your spawn to savage the world and rob it of intellect and sensibility. Grr ... argh!

Then again, I could probably write numerous diatribes about how I hate absolutely every aspect of society. The only reason why I tend to single out children in particular is because hordes of people out there have a deluded belief that they are cute and harmless and exist only to be pampered and lavished with attention. And worst of all, their numbers increase in proportion to the degree of fornication that takes place around the world. I can already envision the advertisements.

Sex. It can drain you financially. It can take decades off your life expectancy. Whether lady or gentleman, boy or girl, no one is free from the perils of sex. Sex leads to crime, to AIDS, and worst of all, it leads to children. Be intelligent. Be successful. Be independent. But most importantly of all, be safe. Don't be tempted! Stop. Now. Before it is too late.
*tapes on pictures of bloated pregnant ladies, oversized families living in squalor, huge piles of dirty diapers, etc.*

And the most unfortunate thing is that there are so many people out there who still don't realise this. Tch.

I don't know how they did it, but they finally got me to leave the house. By a horribly severe case of gastroenteritis, for that matter. Now, I have to gulp down seven pills after every meal, the sheer number of which, jiggling in my open palm, is enough to send me into a shudder. I thought only cancer patients ever took that many at one go? Should I be thankful that there is no medicine which can be prescribed to treat depression and a severe mental breakdown?

They claim that 'the way to a man's heart is through their stomach'. Not that I really give a damn about men's hearts (in my opinion the fastest way being a dagger between the ribs), but it turns out that the way to my head is through my stomach. The gurgling of fetid gas mingling with yesterday's dinner in my digestive system sends my head reeling into a spiral. The issue, however, is that my cranium has been throbbing ever since events of weeks past and to somehow gain a temporary relief from such discomfort, even treated as a symptom of another cause, is somehow ... gratifying. As such, I was actually able to write a little bit more because I wasn't feeling so utterly wretched, but there's no point in me dragging it up again just for it to slide down like dissolving tablets down one's slimy gullet. I'll wait till I eventually finish (I will!) to bump it up again, after which the laws of procrastination would dictate me to start the process again with the next. Intriguing.

Lame Joke :

Charlotte : "Wot?"
? : "Just how are girls like you and boys different, anyway?"
Charlotte : "I'm not too sure, but I can conceive."

I seriously have nothing to say, except the same. That I am ill, that I am tired, than I am non-conversational. And the fact that I don't feel good enough to leave the house to borrow new library books (after, in turn, requesting my family to return those which are due)

But don't you ever think this site is going to close anytime soon. While it may not have "new" things everyday (um, let's try hundreds of ways to type the letter "a", shall we?) it is at the least being paid attention to, and while I guess it would be a patent lie to say that it's always foremost on my mind it IS my home page for Internet Explorer (because I can't be bothered to learn how to use Netscape) and, unless someone out there chooses to give me a call on the phone ... I haven't had one for weeks or so, mind you ... it serves as my only method of communication with the outside world. Or, rather, the only method of communication where I express my overt sentiments.

Sigh. And it has been a long time ever since I wrote something original. Far too long, in fact. This is not writer's block. This is, um, just a lack of epiphany, that's it. People who blame their unproductivity on writer's block have obviously never actually attempted to encounter a block in their life. It's hard.

And I shall delete all those blanks which I really cannot be bothered to fill. Just because. Because I have the power ... *evil laughter* ... Singapore Power ... *even more evil laughter*. But know that I am still here, and ever watching.
